748 tyre help

hi guys

ive had a quick look in the tyre section and didnt find it helped so i want to know what tyres you'd recommend for a 748, my current diablo rear developed a 1" long gash in it today and i only found out when exiting a 90 degree right, i thought i was spinning the rear bayliss style until it nearly spat me off and i realised i had a flat, put some tyreweld in and it stayed up enough to get me home.

SO What tyres are best and wheres the best place to get them from, all suggestions welcome :bouncy:

Is there anywhere i can use my dsc membership card to get a discount from too :eureka:

On my second set of Diablo Corsa's after using Bt12ss which i did not get on with

whats the difference between the supercorsa's and diablo corsa's, is 1 the 03 model and 1 the 04 model. im not too worried about having the latest tyres as long as i get tyres at a reasonable price

keep um coming :sing:

If you are doing track days & road, go with the Diablo corsars, if road only go for the standard Diablo as it is better in the wet than the Diablo Corsar & the Super Corsar.
The difference between the Super Corsar & the Diablo corsar is that the Super corsar is a road legal race tyre.

As stated deej, the diablo corser is basically a more focussed version of the diablo fitted to yours at the moment. Fine for nice warm weather track riding, but if you plan on riding in all weathers, then the standard diablos would be the beter bet (more tread etc).

Give Mike davis (robsom racing) from this board a U2U...he usually has them in stock and does the best deals on them I know of. He'll also do you a good price due to your DSC membership.

Was out on Sat scubing in a new Rear Diablo Corsa , well trying to , could not get much heat in it so std Diablos might be better this time of the year !

Standard Diablos have a higher Silca content than the Corsa version and as such have more grip in the wet, certainly couldn't fault mine yesterday on the trip over to Fox's to meet up with Karl, Everton and Chippy.
I have the Diablo Corsas on my R6 and on the track they are Awesome, I'm trying to move away from using Super Corsas and Rennsports on the track as they aren't the best choice for a road tyre in this country.

I've just had some Diablo Corsa's fitted to mine but the wheels are still off the bike. Seeing Troy today has inspired me to go out and do some cleaning and putting back together.

I still can't believe he's not going to be on a Ducati next year ...
