748 Handle Bars Anyone got any ideas or heard of any way of raising the handle bars on my 1997 748. I'm quite short in the body and they are just too low! Don't want to be selling it to get a Monster!! [Edited on 1-11-2004 by HANCYM] |
There was a thread about this a while back. Basically there are the usual suspects like heli bars etc. or I have a yoke from the states that allows the bars to be fitted up to 15mm-20mm higher and allows a change in the rake to. Not cheap though. Mail us if you'd like more info? |
Hi You have a U2U |
Nelly Do you stock. or can you get Heli bars? I'm after some for my 900SSie, I believe they make them but I can't find a stockist. Thanks:) |
I'll look into it. I think Gilles do a similar item to. |
Ducati Performance do a set of bar raiser's not cheap though , i tried a set a long time ago & then sold them on this site Have you tried moving the clutch/brake levers around to suit your wrist's as this makes a massive improvement ! |
I have a set from www.cyclecat.com adjustable height one inch wider and adjustable angle. The are sold through spareshack in the uk simply transformed the bike and look gorgeous to. Cheers |
Just taken a look at the ones on www.cyclecat.com. AA bit pricey but look well make. I'm still a little cautious about the clearance from the fairing when the bike is on full lock. Can anyone confirm for me what actual hight adjustment I can get from these without bashing the fairing? Ta! |
Have you tried building the revs up and dipping the clutch in first gear? Should be able to rise the bars considerably!!!!! |
I`m interested also to hear a bit more about the cycle cat bars, what about clearence for the clutch & brake master cylinders????? |
