92-98 SS Indicator switch?

Anyone got a spare or duff one that they want to sell me?

I broke the indicator thumb switch on her SS a while ago and "borrowed" the one off my 888 while I was racing it.

I seem to recall that there were a couple of ones with duff lightswitch/flash switches which I could cannibalize, but I lost contact with the guy who was supposed to be selling me one.........and yes I have been keeping an eye on ebay!

Any help appreciated.

I've got duff one but it's not much use to you, I managed to break the indicator button off as well. Seems to be a common problem.
I fitted a switch from a 996, same as the late SS models. The push button dip is a vast improvement. No worries about switching the light off instead of dipping :o

Haha, I must show you guys my totally ghetto setup later after I broke my switch.

Hi

I have a brand new 851/888 one which is USA spec with no off switch for lights, but you could use it for the indicator button etc....£30 plus whatever post would cost

Most Italian stuff uses switches from a common supplier. i took one off my Gilera 500 and used it on my 93 SS. You may be able to find something similar at a bike junk yard. Maybe. If not a whole switch , you may be able to swap some parts from another machine to make it workable again.

Okay here goes...

So I bought one of these at Radio Shack (its a generally popular electronics store in the United States)... They're just regular electronic crimp quick disconnectors...

So with some needlenose pliars and superglue...

told you it was bad...

I think these might actually be identical to standard honda switches,so might be available for peanuts from a breaker.

Cheers guys.

When I get back from hols I'll keep my eyes open for a late-model one for the 888 and keep the 750 original.
