boo hoo I want my 748 back ST died today. the old girl just wont start full stop. she going back to shop tomorrow.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::(:( |
thats some bad luck. I've never found reliability a big issue with ST's. My ST2 has had the warranty generator/rotor fix but thats all over 4 years |
Well the old girl is back at the dealers they seem as baffled as me. Have to wait and see what they say. Anyone out there know somewhere good to take ducati's other than main dealers, i'm in the north east of england. |
Cornespeed!!! |
What use is Cornerspeed (Nottingham) to someone who lives in the north east ? |
The same us as it is to us in the south who use him/will be using him! :frog::frog: |
corner speed were ever you are i think he collects aswell free tea and chocy bickies +meet all the other dsc there what more can you ask for |
Plenty of folks travel from all over to get there. Neil will also collect the bike if its not running. I wouldnt go anywhere else and i know lots of people who think the same. Didnt he have one guy who rode over from Germany for a service? |
ok, since this looks like it's turning into a "let's all worship nelly" type thread..... Portsmouth to Cornerspeed = 200miles each way. Didn't stop me! I rest my case. We love you nelleeee, we doooo..... |
So let me get this straight..... There are only two individuals in the whole of the UK who can be trusted to work on Ducatis - Nelly at Cornerspeed and, of course, Lord Hackett of Coventry. Get real ! this isn't rocket science, these are relatively simple v-twin motorcycles, and most of the time we are talking about routine servicing, not race-tuning to the nth degree (where the talents of Mr. Hackett could possibly be justified). This "I only trust so and so to work on my pride and joy" is just the kind of product snobbery that gets Ducati owners a bad name with other bike people. |
