Trackday kit - A quandry

I have the option to buy the Haslam Magny-cours bodywork for my 999

It's not going cheap, but there's a lot of carbon going on there...

What do you think of the design?

Haslam's 999RS04

Personally I think it looks as trick as hell, a one off by all accounts

eek !

Go for it, I've seen it up close and the artwork involved is fantastic, not to mention the carbon:D

i think it looks good but have to say it depends on how good a rider you are. would look a bit silly wobbling around in the novice group getting over taken by all and sundry with that kit on.

i say go for it!!

If only for the fact that it means I don't have to try and work out what to get you for Christmas if I can buy it for you :)

I'll second that, you'd have to be able to walk the walk with that kit on the bike!!

Go for it, you can't beat having a bit of genuine racing history in your garage or on your bike.
I have most of a Ex V&M CBR600 in the workshop dressed in the genuine Duckhams bodywork, I did have the whole bike, raced it for a couple of years then swapped a few bits to get it road legal.
Next project is either a Ian Simpson or Jim Moodie Duckhams Ducati 955 to sit beside it, or a Steve Hislop Devimead Ducati, got the odd bit off each anybody got the bodywork ?
Still I can always get it painted as per the pics I have.

Yes, go for it matey. It's just like having any other rep (Foggy, Bayliss, Hodgson, Fila etc) but more unique.
Only down side would be if any parts or repairs were ever needed, but it could always be put back to standard.

Looking forward to seeing it

Go for it, it looks really trick!!

Its a one-off, bespoke piece of kit - you'll regret it if you don't.

hmmm its a bit like foggy rep leathers ,if youre blindingly fast ok ,
if not it makes you a target......
second will the rs body kit fit a road bike?
i was told it wouldnt as the side fairing brakets are sligtly different to the road bike, i think the seat is also a problem as the heat shield is attatched to the seat not the exhaust.
but hung in the garage or at work deffo the dogs.......
