Good Day-S**t Day

The day started off well as I have a couple of days off with pay and the weather was good. I took my Numptystrada in for a service and to have hand guards (painted red) fitted . Back at home I decided to have a try to beat the highest score on one of our computer games which I have been attempting to do for months. At the 2nd try I annihilated it. Had a good lunch wrote my Christmas cards for posting to foreign parts and found that the postage was much cheaper than I thought. Drew out £350 pounds as I planned to take Sue to Tunbridge Wells Christmas shopping tomorrow. Went to collect bike only to find that they had fitted a carbon fibre belly pan which Sue had bought me as an early Christmas present. Prepared myself for shock when handed the bill only to find it not as bad as I feared. Went to get the credit card only to find my wallet had gone missing complete with credit cards Christmas shopping money driving licence and so on,
Said "Oh dear I have lost my wallet" or at least words to that effect
Sorry for boring you all with this I just wanted to get it off my chest

Youre right I'm a £300 poorer basteward/ Still I suppose it could have been worse I could have drawn out the cash to pay for the service.
I'm sure I will survive

Was this a misplaced wallet or one snookered out of your possession by those with evil intent. If that is the case, you are of course getting all your credit cards cancelled.
Had that happen once and did all the phone calling immediately, but the wallet came back minus about $600, but nothing else. CC's were all intact.
Anyway Christmas is here and the prowlers are out in force. Watch your selves out there!!
Oh yeah, sorry to hear this happened. Sounded like a great day in the making!

sorry Rocker...What a bummer!:(

At least there's another payday before christmas:)

Rocker, sorry to hear, hope there turns out to be a not too painfull explanation and you don't loose any money.

My flatmate lost his wallet and was very worried, cancelled everything. About a week later he found the wallet in the freezer in a bag with the beefburgers!

Thanks Guys. When I cancelled all the CCs I was assured that none of them had been used
Ive been leaving the Grand Prix Legends catalogue open at the page with the Ducati wallets hoping santa might take the hint

yeah I tried that. After two attempts where I got put through to an answerphone I finaly managed to get through to a very disinterested female at the front desk who took my name and address & gave me a Lost property number. She was not interested in where I lost it or details of the wallet.
On the railway if anyone reports a lost item we get a descrition of it plus if possible which train it was lost on where on the train it was lost. If the train is still on it's journey we contact the guard. If it has completed it's journey we trace which service the stock is now on. We also check with the cleaners who despite the fact they are poorly paid often hand in large ammounts of money and/or valuble property. our success rate in tracing items is very good.
At the very least we manage to sound interested
