it fell orf Went out for a short ride on Saturday to give it some excercise and when I came to push it back into the garage... no plate. Actually, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. I fitted the (Rsend/Casoli) tail tidy in August and it seemed like a flimsey piece of cráp then. Guess I'm going to have to make my own... once Malplates have supplied me with a replacement. Good thing it's off season, huh. |
Mine did that as well half way across France - do a search as there is a mod using existing brackets and light unit.I have since carried out that mod and is nice and secure. |
Yep,Ive lost two plates this year.The last time it happened the whole bracket went with it! Its caused by the plate hitting the rear tyre on full suspension compression. The cure seems to be an even smaller no. plate and a couple of turns of the ride height adjuster.:D [Edited on 18-12-2004 by KeefyB] |
