Mudguard & tailunit

OK guys, what is the secret to not losing the mudguard and licence plate ?

3 weeks in a row now I have lost bolts, plates and today the whole ******* unit. Is it just me or is this weakpoint in the desgn when faced with ROUGH roads ?

...and to think I sold the Superblackbird because it was too reliable and uninvolving !

Not giving up...just venting

try using locktite on the bolts.

The bolts screw into wellnuts (nut in rubber grommet). If you use loktite, you will never get them apart again because the wellnuts will simply rotate. Are the wellnuts still there after you've lost the mudguard/plate holder?

Tighten them up more.

Istanbulian. Seems to me that your bike might have been track day'd. I know that when I came to change the numberplate holder for one of Cornerspeed's brilliant relocator one's they were has tight has a witch's c#^t. It was the first time it had ever been off.

Thinks its time to buy whole new set of the wellnuts as this time the bolts came out with the metal inserts of the wellnuts still attached...leaving just the rubber inserts in the frame ! The only thing I can think I did wrong this time was that they were actuallt too tight ?

...there again may ditch the wellnuts and just go to conventional bolts with rubber grommets

is the cornerspeed relocator the same as that offered by Evoluzione ?
