it will.............kind of.
I've used one a couple of times, but it's risky and can result in some seriously skinned knuckles and damaged engine casings. I'd stay clear IMO.

Get a pressure plate and a frition plate and bolt them together.Works just as well.I have one made if you want it.

The tool is as used in the dreaded Haynes manual, whether that is good or not I will undoubtedly discover

I have tracked one down via the UK distributor and will update you about the length of time I spent in casualty over the Christmas period.

Don't trust that book of ideas - some good, some bad.

This is definately not one of there good ideas.

Either buy a proper one or make one out of old plates & metal bar.
