999r owners.....question?

Owing to lack of space is it worth me selling the standard can and pipes that came with the bike. 04 model.

If so at what price?

dont have the 'r' but would doubt it. most buyers would probably like to have the original cans too when you come to sell it. would stick them away up in loft/garage/underbed for now.

Hmmmm....

They're only standard pipes, but if/when you sell the bike did come with them, and the race pipes, stand, cover and plaque, to me it's a complete package.... otherwise it's going to be sold at a lower price as and when you sell, probably less than what you might get for the standard pipes...

Plus I guess it depends on who you sell it too...

I've got a house full of spare kit that came with the bike, and the Bostrom which when they go I'll bundle with them to hopefully aid selling...

Thought maybe that the standard can arrangement, could possibly be an up-grade on other models.

Remember also that, should you keep the bike beyond 3 years, you would need to at least show the standard can to a (friendly) MOT station so they can pass the bike.

Keep the std stuff can and front pipe, Fit a termi system I know where theres a 54mm system going for a grand. And sell the Race can and pipe (£4-500) to off set the price of the termi. = termi for £600!

Points noted ....understand all the law biding , selling the complete kit etc.

Just wondered if they were any use to anyone, as a second hand item.

Andy

Is that not the size of the race system supplied, if not does a 54mm system make a significant difference? Is it the balanced type ....?

Could be interested!!
