on your bike recall went to on your bike today for my recall on my multistrada, wot a joke that was (not) booked it in a month ago before christmas , plenty of time you would think. had couple of hours off work rode the bike thirty odd miles over to the dealer ship freeeeezing my bits off , arrived just after nine when the opend went in , after about quater of an hour they said ow sorry to waist your time sir the parts havent arived yet we should have phoned you ,but i wasent here yesterday the chap at the desk said .not even the replacement panell wich was orderd months and months ago wen i brought the bike. so not only waisted my time off work my petrol and froooooz my b....ks off for nothing. i noticed the new signs wich said loan bikes are now £20 a day and £40 if brought back next day (great not) well recomend them (NOT) one well not happy custermer:flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::flame ::flame: |
Well - coz they messed you about this time, at least a loan bike will be free next time - right? |
There was talk of them picking it up in there van ,me thinks me will insist on it when they get around to letting me know if and when they get the parts |
I've also received the recall papers ( twice ! ) and was going to book into Ducati Aylesbury when it gets a bit warmer. The bikes not being used much at the moment so I don't see much urgency in getting it fixed until it's convenient to me. Perhaps it would be better to get the work done at JHP - further to travel but (perhaps) more reliable? |
what's the recall for? (just being nosey:)) ron parkinsons used to mess me about too when it came to doing recall wk |

Just to clarify: We ordered the warranty recall parts as soon as we heard about the recall. As yet, no Ducati dealers have the recall parts. This was confirmed for us today by Ducati UK. With regard to the panel, there has been an error on our behalf, which is why I offered a free collection and delivery service when the warranty parts and the panel arrive. I was unavoidably absent from work the previous day unfortunately, as I had a note in my diary to phone regarding the lack of parts, to avoid your inconvenience. There will be no need to insist on a van collection, as soon as the warranty parts arrive, we will be in touch to arrange collection and I will post on this thread. I hope this goes some way to assuaging your disatisfaction. |
er.....think you should be talking directly to Senna3 rather than through this board ? Then it's up to him if he puts your comments on here.... Must say, I'd have been livid too. [Edited on 12-1-2005 by beancounter] |

We like to be open about these things. Also thought it might be useful for everyone on here to know the situation regarding the warranty recall parts situation. |
FYI we now have stock of the new oil pipes for the Multistrada recall. :) |
