Question For Everybody who uses a slipper clutch if so what make and cost thanks wayne |
Sigma, paid about £800 for it a few years ago. Cant fault it. Craig |
Sigma..........£200 . Used it for few years now on the 853 (i do need it dont i Craig). DD 620 aint got one, will see how it goes without |
Been using the standard late 620/800 APTC clutches for a few years now on the 620 with no problems. My carp starts are definitely due to the bit that pulls in the lever, not what happens at the other end of the clutch line! I got the last one off ebay for £80....... This one looks the same though: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2609981316... 4.m1423.l2649 |

I'm sure Matt Larrett would swap his APTC one for a standard one, I could never get a decent start with the APTC one in my bike so I swapped to a normal clutch, but on my S2R 800 road bike I can't fault the APTC unit, makes for such a light clutch action |
got a 696 clutch i've got plans to put in .. still using the standard non slipper unit at the mo tho |
If you're hard on the brakes with the back wheel in the air do you still need a slipper clutch? |
Yes even more when that back wheel comes back down... Craig |
