TrackDay Multistrada\'s There were 2 Multistrada's at the trackday yesterday-Keefyboys and Tony from Ducati Uk. It was VERY interesting seeing them charging into Gerrards in the pouring rain, they weren't disgraced at all. John |
Yeah,I had great fun riding around the outside of a few peeps.Bl**dy difficult to keep the revs to 7,000 rpm tho.(Still running in!) |
Showoff!! Yer were bl@@dy quick though. |
I was'nt showing off mate,Ive just had plenty of experience of riding in the rain! |
 Will you be replacing the 998R or sticking to super ducatio |
Nah mate. Its a great bike, but I only bought it as a second bike to the 998. BTW,I've put my name on a 749S in Italia Moto.Cant wait.:D |
But have you seen the 749R????? You know you want one!;) Andy |
Andy, you're right mate! 115bhp plus all the usual R bells and whistles.I'll be certainly be having a look when they are released.;) |
was that you trying to keep the multistrada out of the rain in the pit lane garages? If it was, you came round the outside of me on the exit to Gerrards, looked great looking up at you, (or whoever it was). How different is the 1000 twin spark to the old 2 valve ss900 engine? Is there much engine noise? One thing I hated about my 900superlight was hearing all that metal thrashing around, - but i think it was made worse by the fairing. |
Yep,that was me. The DS motor is very quiet.Ducati have been working hard (too hard) to keep the noise levels down.Riding along at "normal" road speeds,I cant hear nothing but the wind whistling over the screen.Very little airbox/induction/exhaust noise at all.Even the clutch is quiet with its alloy plates. |
