IOM TT 2005

I am off to the island on june 2nd for a week, this will be my first time at the TT on a bike. Is anyone else from DSC going?
Has anyone been before if so have you got any views on camp sites and good vantage points, I have always viewed from the "Creg" that's where the MCN day trip goes.

the church yard at Union Mills isn't a bad place to watch as they come down the hill past the Railway pub. The church serves refreasments in the way of Sarnies, cakes, tea, coffee and soft drinks, has toilet facilities and you can also nip up the back roads from there to signpost if you fancy a different location for the second race of the day.
I Would like to go again but following my bike getting destroyed last year and the rider getting very lucky and only ending up in hospital for a couple of weeks it would be nice to go as just a spectator but no doubt I would get roped in by somebody for pit duties.

I went few years ago, phoned the tourist board and got a home stay list
We got sorted out and stayed with some very nice people, they told us all the best places to watch
Far as the camp site concerned I do prefer five bed house with double garage, jet wash and cooked breackfast before blast off to mud and cow shiiiii
:cool:

Ah yes,tea and cakes at Union Mills,...........mmmm!:)
Same deal at Bradden Bridge.Good view from the churchyard.They sometimes drag the pews out to sit on.
One of my all time fave spots is Parliament Sq. in Ramsay.Get yourself to Raymotors forecourt before the roads close.Excellent view through the square and then up the hill past the bus station.Refreshments can be found in the pub next door.(There is a gap in the wall)For a differant view you can walk through the housing estate and across the footbridge to the other side of the circuit.:D
As for camping,....:lol::lol::lol:B&B for me.
Last time I went,I did a home stay 2 mins walk from Parliament Sq.Great for early morning practice!
