will i blow through?
 

I am replacing my exaust system after removing it to clean the bike properly over the winter months [ polished up] the haynes manual says to use exhaust gasket gunge [light smeer] to the connections.There was no gunk on there when i removed it all and i remember useing the stuff on a car a while ago and when it came to removeal it made it a bitch of a job.I dont want to bolt it all together only to sound like the bass section of a brass band....use it or not advise please :bouncy:

I didnt use any and its hasnt caused a problem....yet:puzzled:

I've got some of the gasket sealer if you need any, after doing mine...let me know

Light application of high temp silicone is the way to go, carbon build up will do the rest.
