Nailed it AGAIN! Riding back from work last night and ... I didn't feel at all confident. I start to lean and the damn thing's understeering - I compensate for that and it wiggles like a mad thing at the back. Sure enough and as expected, an examination at home of the back tyre (with a few hundred miles on it) shows a shiny new nail buried in it. I swear I deal with more nails and screws than my local B&Q. Still, I refuse to stop filtering - even though I'm sure it's the reason I pick up so many of the blinking things :flame: Off to CMW tomorrow to see if it's repairable. Rant over, thanks for "listening". |

Unlucky matey. Always seems the way just after a new set. |

Loz Tyreman on the site can now LEGALY repair punctures to TUV standard. Hes got some special system, then have it filled with nitrogeon for good measure ! If you need numbers give me a shout. Regards Kev |

That's a real bummer! :flame: Are you absolutely sure it's not sabotage? After all, anyone who knows where you work ...:o:o:o:devil: |

Thanks Kev. Tyreman did a grand job for me at Popham last summer, but he's a bit off my beaten path if I recall correctly. The local folks at CMW are reliable for this work, never had any problems (and I get plenty of opportunity to test them!) Quote:
Ruth, don't get me stirred up! No, I am not sure it isn't sabotage, but until I get some evidence, I shall just have to seethe! Mind you, it'd be worth having someone do it just for the satisfaction of catching and punishing them  |
