swingarm removal

my haynes manual states that the engine needs to come out to enable removal of the swingarm (748).....is this correct ?
thanks

Don't know mate but i do sudgest using a BIG HAMMER :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Technically........ Yes.
The swingarm is located by two collars that go through the arm into the frame. The engine prevents these from coming out, even if the bolt is removed.
There is a way around it, but i'm not sure you'd want to try it and and i'm not sure it should be disclosed in public either :rolleye:
