Riders mailing list

What do you think about this ?

I don't want to seem making a difference between "them and us" but I think it could be usefull for us to be able to exchange e-mails between riders of the DD series for tips, help, tools or spare parts borrows, etc...

Tonio600 10-Feb-2005 14:40

I think the absence of answer means it doesn't interrest you, nervermind...

dickieducati 10-Feb-2005 15:11

i do thinks its a good idea, i think most people would either email a particular person from their mail address on their profile or u2u them.

NBs996 10-Feb-2005 15:44

There's no harm in exchanging email addresses with whoever wants to, maybe we'll all swap some info at the meeting on saturday - are you going tonio?

But in the interest of the whole DSC community thing behind the original intent of the series, then i think as much stuff as possibly should be discussed openly... you see there's a lot of people not racing but are very interested in keeping up with the "who's doing what" aspect of the series.

There's only one 'r' in interest. :frog:

You're right, I agree with you. I think my proposition is linked to the fact I prefer to receive stuff in my mailbox than having to visit a forum ;)
And the mailing list I thought we could use would have been opened to everyone, just like this forum... A kind of delivered DD news for lazy people like me.

But I forgot this and go back to my job...

Thanks, I will try to remember :)

As hard as it is to trawl through some of the threads, most of the info is available on the Desmo Due Section. Im sure there will be lots to read about when the series starts. There is a bit of friendly rivalry/secrecy on the prep side of the bikes and a lot of the talk is via the U2U comms set up. Need to No basis Nod Nod wink wink. I agree the whole DD program was to be a excercise in Club comerardary and participation, with those wishing to extend their all ready skillful abilities on getting a Duke round a track, faster than most . The idea of burying imfo via E mails and not on this board would defeat the object I think. 4D

And of course, absolutely no one would give a fellow competitor any duff gen either..................would they?

PS Try 8 psi front 48 rear on Bridgestones

NBs996 10-Feb-2005 21:19

I would hope not paul! We're all shelling out a shed load of wedge on this, so i'd like to think no-one would want to waste my money for me by feeding me crap!

p.s. Just run the normal pressures in them bridgestones, but whap the front and rear round. Trust me, it works great.

AK 10-Feb-2005 21:37

you shelling out loadsa wedge then Nick? our 'trotter mobile' is hopefully not........
but then AK is doing the 'getting it ready bit' and I am sure he keeps diving out to the garage to answer his phone.....

C, wondering why meals out on a Firday have been suddenly cancelled:puzzled:

NBs996 10-Feb-2005 21:50

I'm sure your trotter-mobile will be one fine machine if AK's got anything to do with it.

I just hope you can do a decent job riding it :frog:
