l.e.d rear lights. I,m sure i've seen a post on here about 749/999 led rear lights, anyone know who does them? Butch |
Butch, ScottyB has one on his 749 Dark - give him a jingle Cheers! Scott |
Hi Butch, I've got one on my 999s they look great, you can get them at Ducati9.net...see under 999 section then electrical bits... if my memory's any good they go for about £100.00 plus the old dreaded VAT. If I get a moment I'll take some pics on Saturday when it's daylight:) |
Or make one yourself like I did on my 900ss for about £25  I chopped up a car high level brake light and fitted the LEDs into the reflector and replaced the bulb with a LED one. The festoon bulb is for the number plate illumination. I'll get round to using LEDs for that too eventually. |
Casoli do them too. Just fitted one on my 749. It was dead easy to fit, being just a pull the bulb and plug in the LED unit. No mods necessary. I think it was about £70. www.casoli.co.uk Henry |
anyone know what components to use ? Im not bad with a soldering iron so fancy making one. Is it best to have seperate rows of leds for the brake and running lights or have the leds go brighter when you break. tricky |
This is how you do it :P |
