Tyres

Im looking for some new tyres on my 749S - its fitted with Michelin Pilots at the minute and I dont rate them - very unnerving in the wet and dont feel that planted in the dry.
I dont go out much in the wet but dont want something that cant handle a downpour while Im out.
I live in Cumbria and it rains a lot.
Has anyone tried the new Michelin Pilot Power tyres. They got a good write up in Superbike.
What pressure are you running ? the book says 30 psi front and 32 rear.

I like Pirelli Diablo's or Diablo Corsa's
The standard diablo is a great all round tyre. The Diablo is more track focused, but not quite as good in the wet.

Always had pirelli's corsa's in the past. But my new bike came with Michelin Pilots powers. Still running the bike in at the moment but they seem good in the wet & dry.

Im near the big glow in the dark factory on the coast - often do the A6 from hartside to kendal and then off to devils bridge - are the pilot poers alright on there?
the Pilot sports were all over the place on hartside last year in the wet - got passed by two locals in a car !!!

Diablos mate !

I have had michelins, dunlops, metzeler,Bridgestones and diablos and have to say the diablos are the best tyre for grip in all weathers

I don't like the Pilot Sports either, no feel at all. :(

What pressures are you running? The handbook says 30/32?

Im running at 30 front 32 rear. Superbike Magazine has just got a write up on the new Michelin Power Race tyres with the dual compound rubber - might give those a try ???
