Looking for kennels - a long shot I'm struggling to find a kennels of good repute for my Dobie over Easter. I think I've exhausted the good nature of family and friends asking them to look after her when I do trackdays. Ali's had her for a weekend in the past but he and his Mrs weren't too happy about her sleeping between them on the bed. So, can anyone recommend/have friends who run kennels, that I could book her into? Don't mind going a bit of distance - say 40 miles. It will be from Thursday 24th March to probably the following Wednesday morning. I'd rather collect her on the Monday, when I get back, but the ones round here are closed that day so it has to be the first day I'm not working i.e Wednesday. The good ones in this neck of the woods are fully booked. [Edited on 18-2-2005 by Redruth] |
Hi Ruth, there's a couple of kennels near here, one of which we used when we had our Dobie (DEFA 4 dog) and there's one on the edge of town that a friend of mine has put her Ridgeback into ,I could ask what she throught of it. Mind you thrapston might be to far away for you,it's about three miles from the pub we go to at Ghelveston . |
Thanks Marko. All sorted now though. She was on a reserve list for a kennels at Kensworth and they rang this morning to say they've had a cancellation. Just need to check out that they're ok as she's not been there before and I should be all sorted for my Easter holidays at Cadwell! I'm going out on the bike now so I'm gonna pop in there and check it out. :sing::sing::sing: |
