Frame Paint
 

I know this has been asked a thousand times but I've done a search and can’t fine it, and I can’t get into the old board to do a search on there.

I’m after the PPG paint code for 96-97 gold frame and wheel 916's, I've got the other suppliers color match codes but I have a PPG supplier locally so want to go down this route.

From memory I think it's PPG code 201193 (Beige Gold). Give PPG UK a call to confirm on 01753 611500.

Thanks Neil, I'll give it a try this morning.

I have contacted PPG they have given me a code: 10579 for a solid (flat?) Beige Gold for 1997 Ducati's, can anyone confirm this.

Sounds right to me, going from memory when I went through the same last year. Definitely flat beige gold. Later ones had a metallic finish.

I wouldn't want to attempt to colour match a spot repair, though. Only paint entire frame.

It’s for my wheels really, the chap who had the bike before managed to carve out some nasty scratches on the rear wheel off the disc.
