nose cones?

I thought I was onto a lead for an S4 challenge nose cone, but it turns out I was barking up the wrong tree, peeing in the wind, flogging a dead horse, etc...

So, does anyone have a lead, or better still a supply, of nose fairings for a monnie that don't have the headlight cutout?
What are you M6** riders doing about displaying the front number?

All suggestions gratefully received!

Put a barn door on the front Nick should give a good drag coefficient :frog:

Cones?

You wanna have a word with Dribble! He comes from an Italian background and we all know they have a long tradition of producing some very tasty cones ;)

sadly, I'm not always right!

Seriously?

You wanna get one of Pete's old leather and wood pudding basin crash helmets, paint it white and strap that on in place of a headlight :saint:

Nick, what you want is some lead fashioned into a cone shape - about 2 and a half inches thick should do. Although you will need to 'brace' the mounting points so that they are 4 inches thick.

Ideally you will want this covering as low as the front cylinder head right round over the top of the clocks to a height of approximately 2 foot.

Would not simply using a fly-screen be acceptable ???

(thought I'd better a post a semi-sensible answer) :D
