Help somebody ? Help somebody ? Im bike is turning other but there is no sparks at the spark plugs, I came of on a track day but It was ok for a bout 1 hour then it would not start. I don’t think it is the HT coils because both sides have no spark. Anyone had this problem ??? I have checked all the fuses and they are all ok.:puzzled: :puzzled: |
Nothin to do with your immobiliser is it? |
Nop, is not the immobiliser. it turning over, there just no spark. Iv got the bike in the house and im looking at the timing sensor now! HELP……..:barfy: |
Don’t really know mate :puzzled: but would look at things that stop the motor in general, side stand switch /kill switch ect may have been damaged. Hope you find it. Ian. |
I had exactly the same thing. Turned out to be the connector between the crankshaft sensor and the rest of the wiring loom. It just needed unplugging and cleaning up. Without it the ECU didn't know that the engine was turning over and didn't trigger any sparks. On my bike the connector lives on the left hand side just below the bottom coolant hose. HELP |
Have you checked the large CPU connector is securely home ? |
Which side did the bike fall on? Was it the left hand side? |
Dare I suggest Nelly at Cornerspeed? He's not a million miles away from you and I'm sure he would collect the bike in the van if you asked nicely. |
