My plate details are on public view every day, whats the problem ?

I've often wondered what the problem with that is myself. Infact it could be an advantage. Say you got done for speeding. You can honestly say that your reg number has been published on the internet so someone could have cloned it.

I've also wondered what the stigma is about putting ones plate on display on the web. Ok millions of people can access the net, and this site. But, all it takes a scum to walk around a bike meet with a camera, or even a note pad or outside your local dealership.

Only thing I would say is not to show on the net is your plate if it is under sized... You knever know whose looking in... I've heard of guys being done for showing clips of them speeding and stunts on the web.... won't be long before the feds cotton on to web sites like bikepics etc. Food for thought.
