Its a nice day, but be careful! Thank God the sun is shining, the temperature here in sunny Swansea is about 19 degrees, and its the first time since I've bought the bike that its been nice and warm and I've gone out and enjoyed myself. That was until I saw the remains of a ZX6-R on a dual carriageway along the coast line, plenty of police traffic units, and paramedics working on the rider who was lying flat on the floor. He looked unconcious to me, and as I glanced whilst riding by, I think they were applying some sort of CPR. Sort of put me off, so I came straight home. I'll probably read about it in the paper on Monday. We've had 4 fatal RTCs this week :( So, have fun, but take care. |
Yep, sad to say but the good weather is going to get people all gee'd up, plenty of whom won't have been on a bike for six months. Real shame, got think of the poor guys family too. |
Yep same here. Never seen so many bikes out in mid March and some real mad riding too.Saw a couple of "accidents waiting to happen" that obviously thought they would be able to ride as fast as they did last september. One guy on a hideous silver 600 Kwack almost lost it on a roundabout in front of me...............mental! |
Is such a sad situation. Sun bring out some madness not just in some reckless bikers but sometimes car drivers unaware that there are bikes out there and to give some space. I just bimbled along today just having fun. Went to Newlands to meet up with Ck etc and happy to get passed by two dukes. Not sure who they were but nice peeps. Enjoy the weather and I wont be rushed. Whilst there saw the usual type R1 with the bird on back perck with a t-shirt and jeans and trainers. No gloves and rider too. Why why why.:( |
