pressure plate Does the bearing which goes in the pressure plate need grease on it before its put into the p plate or does it go in dry? |
I believe you need a dab of MOLYBDENUM GREASE on the cap thing that fits through the bearing No doubt soeone will be more difinitive than me :eureka::puzzled: |
I hope so:lol::lol: |
I have always just pushed them in carefuly no grease required, not saying that right though. Have we bought a new clutch them ? K |
so you don't lube up then Kev ??? :lol: |
DIBBLE were talking clutches not crutches:lol: Red leader sure have. Got myself a slipper clutch off JHP. the only problem is that they didnt send the concave plates and sent one wrong friction plate. But when talking to john he was sending out all parts pronto. He is very helpfull. |
Top Banana ! Let me know what you think. K |
Adam best you heat up the pressure plate and the just drop the bearing in. Its a temperance fit. No grease required. [Edited on 23-3-2005 by Jon] |
