SP / SPS Airtubes Question

Simple question, probably a really complex answer, but here goes

Did any of the 748/916 SPS/SP come with carbon airtubes or were they all plastic?

Harv748 05-Apr-2005 12:24

I think...my 916SP came with plastic airtubes but carbon airbox as new...not 100% sure though. I think the carbon tubes now on it were fitted at a later date.

nope, as said some came with air box

As I thought

Carbon Airbox
Plastic Airtubes

Thanks

I`ve got some original air tubes for sale that have only got a few hundred miles on them, with filters if anyone is interested.

the only one I know of that did was the 02 Hodgson Rep which was supplied and fitted with C/F Airtubes ......

Cheers guys, since I did the SP conversion on the engine, and just got a C/F airbox, I'd got to wondering about the air tubes.

Happy now that I don't "need" c/f tubes to be a fair rep (although want is a different matter)
