Check the Obvious Just got my bike back from the CSS Almeria trip. Just thought I would run it for a few minutes. alarm off, key in press the starter --- nothing  check the fuses --- all ok still nothing :mad: That when I notice the kill switch Doh !!! |
:lol::lol: never done that myself:saint: well, maybe once..... |
OK, going to fess up to this one... I went to start the Triumph only to find that it made a click noise but wouldn't turn over. The battery on the 999 is always going flat so I naturally thought the same had happened to the Triumph as I hadn't riden it for few days. Wrong! You have to pull the clutch in or the starter won't turn. It's only my daily commute bike and I had forgotten. Duh. |
Only happened once, in front of many at Box Hill... my so called mate stick it on for a laugh, git. |
wahoo, just realised my membership icon just came on! yay me! |
i know a wee chapie who has his kill switch on:lol: when we was in cartagena:lol: he didnt why his 996r wouldnt start?:lol: |
 |
GUILTY! I've managed to kick my habit of using the kill switch to stop the bike running. I use the key all the time now. |
