wireless cam
 

still trying to fix a cam to my bike, not too keen on the way its looking to fit.

Anyone know of/have a wireless system? I know maplin do one for about £60 but that is only 100ft and quality aint great which is probably ok if waering a backpank with the cam in there but I was thinking, on track days, I could get a mate to have the camcorder and transmit the signal from the bike, I guess a range of 500m would be needed mostly, maybe 1000.

Any ideas/recomendations greatly appreciated

I'm not sure how much you'll gain from a wireless system.
There's plentyt of room under the seat for a well wrapped camcorder and the wires can be easily secured on the bike.

If you're interested I do have a full (wired) setup that you can borrow to try if you like. You'll have to supply your own camcorder though.

It is powered off of the bike's battery and works really well. Pop over and take a look one eve if you're interested.

I was thinking of selling it previously as I can't use it in the DD series, but have decided to keep it.

Cheers Tim, I'll drop by and have a look.

Problem I have is there is no room under the seat, I have a big ecu there, unless I lay the cam onto the undertray and I think it will get a bit hot.

Guido has a good set up and showed me some pics, I just seem to be having problems finding/fixing a bag to the yokes. And its very obvious, so prbably no track day action will be allowed!!.
