Slow delivery? Have been waiting nearly two weeks for parts that ARE in stock in Italy for my 996. I want to get my bike back on the road asap. How long can I really expect to wait, anyone share their experiences? |
I waited 3 weeks for the pin that connects the rear brake pedal to the cyl rod ! Lucky an M6 bolt fitted !:( |
delivery I'm waiting for a camshaft for my 748r,have been waiting 5 weeks up to now.Supposed to be a production run started Monday gone, might see bike before Xmas!!!!!wouldn't but only bought it on the 3/5/03 put in for service on 5/6/03 a well things happen!!:( |
Hello mate was at CMW's at Chichester today and they were cancelling jobs for next week as loads of parts are on backorder from Italy. |
If you think it is bad now just wait til Italy shuts down for the summer! Last year I waited six weeks for the mounting bracket for the rear brake pedal. Luckily I never use it and tie wrapped it to the frame and still rode it! Bit of a ****er to have to wait for minor parts never mind a camshaft? You have all my sympathy PJ |
I don't think Ducati shuts down their parts service during the summer anymore. Unfortunately, that won't necessarily make deliveries any shorter. |
Five weeks for two pinch bolts for a race swingarm.:o Well it was the start of august when everything else arrived,i then realised that these are longer and a different pitch. Nobody in the uk had them in stock, when i could place an order for them there was a backlog of orders. These are the joys of modifying your bike. |
Hello, Still waiting for a coolant pipe from a dealer nearly 3 and a half weeks now . . :( regards TopiToo |
