Attention all Ducati fact know-alls.......... It's a question of Fila relicas...( or REPLICAS !!!!!!! ) I know that many sites say that only 200 Fila Relicas( spelt REPLICA ) were made to celebrate the 200th win for Ducati... Does anyone know if it was 200 bikes per year or was it 200 lock stock and barrell ??? Some of the American sites are talking about them being 2005 spec and in honor of Toseland not Hodgson.... Does anyone know if the standard R was a limited run and if so, how many were going to be made in total ??? Thanks [Edited on 15-4-2005 by dave w] |
200 Filas worldwide in 2003 if I recall. I think Hodgson got the 200th win that prompted the run? In 2004 I don't know how many were made. The US models are a bit out of synch as they got the '05 999R before the rest of the world to homologate Bostrom's bike. |

Looks like someone has taken the P! |
Not sure about the run of standard 999Rs either. I think it's 150 for homologation purposes but Ducati usually make more than that I think. |

Replicas 'p' not Relicas You're not thick (I expect). But you're at the mercy of people like the lovely Andyb if you can't type or spellcheck. |
The "P" missing from replicas |
