748 forks fit on a 999? My buddy has a 748R that he put the Ohlins R&T forks on. He also has upgraded calipers that required the caliper adapter. The adapter would come with, opening my caliper spacing options. My question to you is...... Can I put these on my 999? Initially looking at it roughly it appears so. The only issue I see is the mounting for the front fender. I absolutely HATE the design of the front fender on the 999, so going with an old style is fine by me. For further information I run Jasons/Section8 suspension settings on the 999 and love them, therefore I have 20mm of added fork length on the 999 that I personally will never use. Just incase the R&T are a little shorter. TIA |
Not totally sure but I suspect its possible I have a 749 frontend at home that I can compare to my standard Ducai Ohlins but I don't know how different they are from road and track. You will probably require at least the bottom yoke that goes with the Ohlins |
Drop Khushy a U2U. He's got Ohlins R&T's on his new 999S that he transplanted from his old 748 (with an 853 conversion). Thread is hers |
Thanks for the link! |
