Google Maps http://maps.google.co.uk/ Not quite upto date (our road still isn't on there!) but it's a pretty nifty interface and better than the advert infested Streetmap! |

That is pretty ace actually. The route finder agrees with the route I take to work too! (I feel justified, although in a car there are quicker ways due to traffic congestion). Only complaint I would have is that on the closer zoom (results returned when you just type in a postcode) the street/road numbering is missing. e.g. A316 although they still have names on the bigger roads. AA route finder is so rubbish, and I never know whether to use streetmap, multimap or mapquest (all advert infested or a bit crap). Think I'll be using Google Maps now! If only Google would launch a calendaring function, linked in with their email service, they'd have a pretty complete service. |

only a matter of time! Best feature is that you can scroll across to the next page without having to refresh the whole page. |

Well, that looks quite good Ant, cheers. Only one prob on my home to work route - it tells me to make a right turn at a major set of traffic lights - where there is no right turn permitted (except for buses) I tried the return trip - and it sent me down a road, which has 'no entry except for Buses, cycles & taxi's' but enforcements have been in place for over 20 years on those roads too:o - maybe it just needs some 'blips' sorting - but is clear to read tho.
