Fitting new seat
 

Managed to acquire a ducati comfort seat today, haven’t had chance to look at the bike yet but how do you go about changing it. Any advice / tips would be appreciated.

Well...

On each side of the seat unit you will see 2 bolts, one from each side bolted to the subframe, take those out, there are another 2 under the seat unit bolting it to the subframe also.

The tricky bit is that the tank is bolted to the seat unit (17mm nut), you can now either remove the entire tank, seat, seat unit as one, or just remove 17mm nut, you'll have to lift seat unit to get access underneath to get to this, once this is removed you can remove seat pad/seat unit as one, undo several more bolts to remove seat pad, and then pretty much reverse the process
