Matte paint cleaning

I have a 749 Dark and was wondering what kinda cleaning products are best to get the matte finish coming up better. Clean it as normal at the moment but dont use anything afterwards to protect or finish it. Anyone got any tips? heard my sheen works but havent really tried it...

its still smooth, but you seem to get scratches from just putting the cover over it at night, very sensitive and in black shows up every little mark. Just wondered if you can actually polish it or not. Theres a bike on ebay at the moment same as mine that looks nice any shiny, ish. ... im expecting someone to tell me to paint it properly anytime soon ;)...

i use silicon spray on a cleancloth to clean the matt black swingarm on my bike, it takes al the wax polish off, guess it might also work on paint work

I use autoglym polish on my 749dark. It removes all the marks and keeps it matt look.

I keep meaning to try and get a bird like the one in the earlier post on my bike. My reg plate ends FHM so fancied getting one of my mates with an ample cleavage to lay on the bike then see If I could get the photo in FHM.

I had a matt grey ST4s for a year and only cleaned it with car shampoo/wax (Carplan or similar). THen chamois it afterwards and leave it. It was fine. Sold it at 12k miles and it looked perfect.
