Got my Haga and Haslam 999s today - they look great :D

Some handy hints for you, as they're quite a bit different to the 996/998s:

When you unpack the bike from it's box, keep an eye out for a small black plastic part. On one of my bikes, I could see a loose bit as I unpacked it. It turned out to be the thumb brake that had come off. It's a delicate part, and as the fairing rattles in the box during transit, it's likely to snap it off. A touch of superglue is all it needs to put it back, so watch out for it! Both Haslam and Haga's bikes have the thumb brake.

The fairing is in two pieces - the belly pan and the rest. All of it detaches so you can see the complete bike. A nice touch, even the back of the clocks has detail :o

To fit all the fairing parts for display, take your time. It's quite fiddly. You need to get the top fairing in place, then squeeze the bottom edges together in order to clip the belly pan into place. I was dead scared I was going to snap something off, but I got there in the end.

Cant wait for the McCoy,Martin and Toseland bikes.:D

when i got my hodgson 2003 through I thought it was tricky to put the fairings on, like you dave very worried in case something snapped.
I have the Martin 998 and it looks great so i will have to get the 999.

I'll get some pics up when I get my replacement 2003 Shakey Byrne. Might as well show off the complete BSB set :)

yeah the fairings on my hodgy rep dont fit so its loose on the stand which shows off the engine detail

i'll try and get some photos of my cabinet up as well
