749r gearing
 
has any R owners dropped a tooth on the front cog? deamon tweeks just said renthal dont make a 13 tooth:o. options are ?

Go up on the rear - 3 teeth will make a noticeable improvement apparently.

Do a search on gearing posts from Shazaam - all the information you could eat.

ive been looking,i remember seeing a chart of gearing etc,most ducati bikes were on it,carnt find it?

The 749R comes with a 15 tooth front sprocket as standard. I have dropped to a 14 tooth, a huge improvement.

Its a 14T you want Pete. JHP about £15.00 for renthal. Cheaper than DP one. This will only make you accelerate quicker, you will still have to be in the right gear

I have a 748R and Talon make a 13t front sprocket but i think it runs the chain too tight to the swingin arm, +3 on the rear is just right :) :)
