Todays the Day! So i took delivery of my 748 Today, but i had a question about my clutch. I know that these dry clutch's are loud *******s, but when it's @ idle, it sounds like a spring is rattleing around in there, but when i take off in gear, it goes away (like normal) It's almost as loud as my FBF Forza pipes???:puzzled: any ideas? Thanks! |
Sounds about right, Shazam will be along shortly to give a detailed technical answer for it. Chris.:burn: |

I know it sounds loud but there isn't much to worry about - truely. When a clutch is new it does sound alot quieter. Don't expect alot of life from the dry clutch anyway. 10,000 miles would be a good lifespan for a dry clutch on your bike. Expect to replace the basket & plates every few years - £300 or so. |
