First 999 UK trackday ..well..surely everyone knew that was not JT or RL on a 999 Xerox bike.. still I really ENJOYED myself :D:D:D Yesterday evening for only 69 quids I broke the ice.. and I just booked two hours before the session ( 4 sessions, one 15 and three 20 minutes - novice and intermediate together). Great bike, great beautiful day (in UK!!), great track (just the indy ..I can wait for the GP circuit in July with Dibble, Lily and the other..) Also.. I wasn't scare at all or intimidated..didn't make anything stupid but of course open wide the throttle with no worries about cameras, cops, cars, or others.. ..and ..on my surprise..It doesn't matter but I wasn't the slowest!! passed a bunch of bikes..and on the brakes!!! Thanks to all the DSC members for the suggestions I gathered in the previous weeks.... Brogins |
Looking good there Brogins! |
Looking pretty damn impressive there... Was that Laconi, Toseland or even Edwards (Lid) they were saying ;) |
looking good Fabio, I'm sure the practice and racing on your dirt bike gives you a advantage over many first timers, not only does it keep you fit and sharpen your reactions but it also gets you use to passing or getting passed withing a few centimetre’s of other riders. |
