Sorry, but I\'ve become all patriotic Well its certainly been an eventfull 16months. The 800SSie has spent nearly 8 months worth being looked at under warranty and even the dealer has had to send it back to ducati. So my patients run dry and I'm now on a very British RED  Triumph 955i Daytona. I have some bits'n'bobs for sale if anyones interested in the MarketPlace. http://www.ducatisportingclub.com/xm....php?tid=19847 Goodbye for now.... ;) Regards, Stu. [Edited on 16-5-2005 by Stu] |
Sad to see you leave the throng mate, even sadder your bike was not up to the usually great standard we've come to expect from Ducati. Ride safe mate, whatever you're on ;) |
Still woulda looked better in yeller :P |
cheers lol. Sorry but after this last ducati - "great standard" is almost laughable. I know its not the rule rather than the exception. But after 2 ducati's it's certainly been a rule for me. Problems I can deal with, total failure's one after the other I can't. Sorry to be going on, but its like one of those childhood romances, you always feel like it was good. But when you think about it seriously it was a complete farse. :( |
Had a 2001 955i Daytona in silver, until it was stolen, good bikes by all accounts. |
Sorry to see you have to move on Stu. Cant fault the colour of the new steed though - and I'd love a Daytona 650 (sigh). Would still be nice to see the occasional post from you to let us know how she compares to your Duke. As has been said...Ride safe (but fast) ;) Cheers - Frank |
Yeh, really wanted a 959 many years ago, until the insurance wouldnt let me have one!!! How things change, insruance is more for the car nowadays & thats with running two beasty bikes!! Good colour choice!! Take care stu, Andy:) [Edited on 17-5-2005 by andys 900ss] |
