BMF Show - Speed Trap Warnings Taken from Northampton Chronicle & Echo 17/05/2005 "Extra speed cameras will be out and about on Northamptonshire's roads this weekend to catch motorcyclists travelling to the BMF show.......... cameras will be installed on Saturday & Sunday 21/22nd May. Sgt Hodgson said "we are expecting a lot of bikers to travel through Northants for this event and will be carrying out speed enforcement on roads leading to and from Peterborough" ..............there will be speed enforcements on the A605 Oundle / Elmington road, the A605 Thrapston bypass and the A605 from it's junction with the A427 county boundary." |
Nothing new there then-and all in the name of safety-yeh right..........:flame: John |
The 605 bypass is a very fast road thatll call you on! There are overbridges for the camera vans so .........heads up! |

They were out out last sunday keeping an eye on the Ford enthusiasts coming out of Rockingham. |
I wouldnt look to defend this at all, but i am aware of the constant complaints received from local areas to these big events that complain of the speeding, noisy vehicles in and out all day and night. I guess you have to see it from their point of view aswell! |

Hardly suprising really the way some of those Ford prats were driving! :o:o:o |

Andy not a pop at you mate, and anyway why would you want to speed down the 605 when you have all the other lovely little roads around-B660 for a start ;). You never see camera vans down the sideroads-the civilian numpties who control them probably can't find them-and long may that continue. John |
Its not just the A605 that will be targetted. A47 east (Eye bypass) A47 west (Caster bypass) A15 (Glinton bypass) Watch out for a yellow van parked up on the side of the road,or flyover bridge. |
