SILVERSTONE MAY 24th (National Circuit)

YOUR LUCKY DAY!

I guess by now that you all saw the picture of Shakey in MCN, I had not heard from him so I decided to give him a call last night. As is so often the case Shane put on a brave face and was keen to be there but was clearly still going to be in pain, with this in mind I made the decision to advise him to stand down for this one. I know from personal experience how hard back pain can be to deal with and if he is not well then trying to look like you are enjoying yourself when you are in pain is not fair.

We have decided to run the day as PACE instead and have offered all those who have booked the existing day a replacement with Shakey on the 28th of July or indeed any of the up and coming SPORTS DAYS + they are still invited to this one.

A good result for them, now one for you.

Because we run more No’s on PACE than we do on SPORTS we have some spaces left, because in is short notice they are very inexpensive when booked online.

Just £69.00 for 7 X 20 minutes of PACE DAY fun.

Four ESS Instructors will be available on a first come first serve basis all day and Yellow courses are now available on the day.

Oh blow, I can't make it either:mad:
Would lurve to try an ESS day - this would've been a great to give it a go and at the right price too! Bosses have a habbit of getting in the way of really important things.

I could possibly make it but have no idea what a pace day is like etc

It really is the ESS 's version of a trackday, but with transponders for timings (compulsory) and their own staff for marshalling etc... check my other threads for feedback. (search for Pace ?)

I was critical of a particular Sports Day that I attended, which I am now resolving with the ESS, but found their Pace Day very good, so I'd recommend it. Just make sure you read all of their paperwork before you attend so you are aware of the requirements.

Call me if you'd like a chat about it.

Yep, gotta agree with Rattlers comments.

I did a Sports day with Frankie Chilli last year and found myself in the wrong group for a while and missed one of the talks when I was eventually moved to another group.

However, it was still a great day and I'd pay the full price once again especially for one of the more challenging circuits - lol !!!

I was gonna just take the trailer - its only a single bike jobby too. Are you going in your van, or are you asking me to look after your misses???? ;)
