i'll cut a long story short,for nearly 2 months ive been hunting for a near side engine casing for a 996 bp,w reg,2000 bike,it came to a point over 3 weeks ago where i thought,'bite the bullet n buy a new one for lots of cash',i ordered it from Tecmoto,who have been great may i add,but over 3 weeks on and its still not here.Theyve emailed them etc about it(the factory) and had no reply,i go away on a biking holiday at the end of June,at the moment i have no bike,doh...and the chances are starting to look slim unless i get the engine casing,which could be anywhere!!!!!lol...does anyone know of a 2nd hand one,brand new even that i can lay my hands on,ive tried breakers adds allsorts,starting to pull my hair out a bit...any help would be greatly appreciated!!!jase

Yep, Nelly sorted me one last year.

If you're having trouble getting a bip one then you might want to broaden your search a little... the case off an sps fits too, but it needs a blanking plate sticking over an extra hole. That's what Neil did for me and it looks fine, in fact it doesn't even look like there's anything there that shouldn't be.

Expensive things tho aren't they!

yay,luigi put me on to jim at bike enders in romford,went up today,its def an aladins cave if anyone else is interested....got the bit i needed,fitted and took it out this eve....at f*****g last,thanks once again for all your help chaps

got to say that rich at louigimoto is as helpful as they come, him and nelly are the dogs ******** in my eyes for help when you need it most

deej..i'll go with that,he didnt have a casing but he did have an engine,he put me onto jim at bike enders,said if he couldnt help he'd break the engine for me,how good is that!
