SPS Cambelt change + good dealers I am new to Ducatis and have just bought a '98 foggy replica. It has done 4k miles from new and to be on the safe side wish to renew the timing belts. Is there a comprehensive on line guide for this and are any special tools req'd......Also can any one reccommend a ducati specialist in the Glos area......Cheers |
Skidlids will be along shortly, for all things Glos he is your man .... but I guess Louigimoto or AJ Racing arent millions of miles away .... Weeksy will confirm that ..... |
Where are you? |
I'd guess in Glos somewhere judging by the question ...!! |
Sorry should have read all of your post - but as dibble says AJRacing is near you call Alan on 01453 845544 |

Louigi Moto or AJ Racing are both top places. Louigi uses Motul oil (in reply tou your other post) Louigi's number is 07775 557797 :D Oh, Louigi is in between Keynsham & Midsomer Norton, and AJ Racing is near Wotton-Under-Edge [Edited on 25-5-2005 by domskidue] |
Is there a comprehensive on line guide for this and are any special tools req'd...... No answer was the reply. I'd like to know this too.:eureka: |
Changing the belts is pretty straight forward. The tensioning is the key to life long hapiness....... Here's a good link from Chris Kelly's site 4V Belts If in any doubt though, get it checked or don't do it. Get it wrong and it will hurt!! |
