How do I bypass the immobiliser to fit a race dash? Although this isn't strictly a 999 question, I understand that the 999 has a similar type of immobiliser fitted as standard. I have an S4R with the standard clocks with immobiliser but want to fit a Translogic race dash. I understand that if the clocks are removed, then the bike won't run so where do I start. It doesn't sound easy or is it? Cheers all best regards simon |

Don't worry. After speaking to Ducati UK, Neil Spalding (Sigma) and John Hacketts, they all pretty much agreed that it was near impossible without a lot of hassle. As yet, they don't know of anyone that's done it. Great, maybe this information should be used as a theft deterrent to all tealeafy chavs wanting my motah. Don't bother, cause you ain't going anywhere. Best regards simon |
