CALLIPER AND DISC NEEDED

Hi folks, I need to upgrade the 'Mickey Mouse' front brakes on the Multi. I have robbed the left hand disc and calliper off my wife's monster and now I need another 320mm disc and 4 pot calliper for the right hand side. Has anyone got spare ones lying around. I know this should be in the marketplace but thought I might get a quicker response from this on here as I would like to get this done in time for Snetterton.

Sorry.....

Cant help with the spares Mike but I didnt think you needed brakes on the Multi anyway? Thought as it was so high in the breeze you just sat upright and acted like an airbrake! No ;)

Are they 65mm mounting? If so they're common to all the other bikes so just pick one up cheap on ebay...

Two different types there and I wouldn't know which ones you want Mike. There's some discs too but I don't know if they are the right ones.

Thanks Lin I have been bidding on the calliper today should be mine in three hours with a bit of luck. I'm not sure I like the idea of you and Paul ganging up on me next weekend.

£74 quid! I had no idea second-hand calipers went for that kind of money.

Got 4-pad jobbies going on the 748 next week, so looks like it'll be worth bunging my old calipers on ebay.

Mike

Hopefully my left boot wont be fishing around for the gear change coming out of the last corner like at CC Mike, that was a very close 0.1 of a second at the finish line ;)

Hope you get it sorted mate, we gotta make sure the crowds stay entertained when the leaders clear off over the horizon

I havw a pair of discs but im not sure they mould fit on a numptystrada front wheel as the standard discs dont have carriers on them.

multi600 20-Jun-2005 13:55

The 1000 Multi does not have carriers but the 620 does. They come with 300mm discs with twin pot sliding callipers. The daek comes with a four pot calliper and and 320mm disc. I have already fitted one 320mm disc and the four pot calliper off my wife bike so just need one more, but a pair would probably be better. So how much do you want for them and how do I get them so I can fit them before the weekend.
