2000 748R - what should it have?

I'm looking at a 2000 748R just now.
However it is for sale minus Ohlins forks and 998 style bodywork. I thought these were standard on ALL 748R's. As the 2000 model was the first R did it not come kitted with these and Marchesini's?

Also, the SPS models came with road and race cans, plus chips, however the R's come with just one set - are they race cans?

Thanks guys!

2000 model R only had Ohlins rear with the Showa TiN front forks.

Should have 5-spoke Marchesinis too, in grey.

Don't think these ones came with dual cans or paddock stand either.

Only the later 2001-onwards models came with all the goodies.

is it a 2000 model? it may be reg 2000, but be an earlier stock, or perhaps a non uk bike, spec do vary slightly, i had a 748r w reg which had showa front and rear, with 5 spokes for eg, the 748r came only with std road cans no stands etc they do however all come with slipper clutch:D

2000 748R has Showa all round, vented bodywork and 5 spokes as standard. I believe they were sold originally with boxed Termi's, a cover and a stand but the chances of these coming with a second hand one are pretty slim.
The 2000 R was the first of the R's and is a useful improvement over the SPS, but was quite different to the later ones.
