Speedo Cable - Wanted
 

Has anyone got a spare, JHP said they can't get one?!?!? And my bike's orf the road without it!

I have a spare SS one that has the same drive & speedo as my '92 851.

If you know how long yours is (?!) it might do the trick?

I've just measured it, and mine doesn't seem to be very long at 830mm (approx) between crimped fittings, let me know if it's about the same, and what you're after for it and I'll stick summik in the post.....

Rats, the SS one is 80mm shorter overall so probably won't reach.

It was worth a try. Have you tried MotoRapido as Steve Hillary is a bit of a 888 nut and might have one lying around somewhere?

The SS cable fits fine. in fact its better than the standard one because its shorter. The standard one has a sharp bend about 6" from the drive (almost certainaly where it broke) both mine did!! SS one takes that out

I may have one somewhere,bought as a spare for my 851.

Sods law..got loads of rev counter and throttle cables...!
