Abba stand or Ducati paddock?

I have the Paddock stand for my 999s and it seems fine but I also have an Abba stand and I would only need the adapters for it to fit the 999. I have heard tales of bikes falling of paddock stands and this may be less likely on the Abba. What do you guys use? :puzzled:

All depends on what you want to use it for I guess

I've got an FG (Ducati) paddock stand and an FG (Ducati) front stand, had my wheels off and done a few bits without any problem, wouldn't want to be taking the engine out etc like this though

I've got an Abba stand - easy to use, strong and stable. As it locates in the swing arm pivots, you can work on the suspension as well.

i use both. dp one for tracks days etc. abba if i need stability doing something at home. definitely more stable but no good for getting it on and off quickly.

we have quite a selection of stands, but go as far as using the abba one when transporting my road bike:)

Abba stand every time. I've never used the paddock stand that came with the bike.

For transporting the bike consider this its excellent and made in the UK!!!!!

If you are working on the bike and old like me the bike lift that they make is brilliant

I have both and they are excellent take up little space and fit on the garage wall when I'm not using them.

Thanks guys, thats very helpful. I will get the adapters for my Abba stand it looks as if its the best option for working on the bike. The eazyriser looks good for us old codgers but over £300 with the kit is a bit steep. I'll see how it go's first. Cheers, Ross.
